Terms Of Use

General Terms

  1. You don't have to have a website to join Dragon Doodles, but if you do, you must provide your URL when signing up. If you make a website after you join, you MUST let us know the URL and have our logo properly linked on that website.

  2. All Site graphics are solely the property of The Dragon Doodles. Do Not Copy Them. Do Not Take Them. Do Not Direct Link Them.

  3. Memberships are for a single user only - not a household or to be shared with a friend.

  4. Lifetime memberships are for the lifetime of the site.

  5. You must not share your username/password with any other person. If you are found to be doing so your account will be terminated immediately with no refund given. IP's ARE Logged.

  6. Do Not Direct Link any graphics from this server. If a graphic is offered to you via a link you must save the graphic to your own space.

  7. You will have to place the logo upon your site within 72 hours of gaining access to the members area. Logos can be found within the members area under "Logos". Any licenses you have purchased will be sent within 24 hours of signing up. This logo MUST remain on your site at all times as long as you're a member. A membership page for logos is acceptable. Even if you're no longer a member, as long as you're using any of Dragon Doodles graphics, our logo must remain on your site and linked to us. This is for your own protection. Please Also Note - As a member, we will make periodic site checks and if we find that our logo is no longer placed on your site or linked improperly, your membership will be suspended until you have made contact with us and have provided a link to show where the logo has been placed and properly linked on your site. This will ONLY be tolerated one time - the second time finding our logo removed will find you without a membership to Dragon Doodles.

  8. Please always refer your links to: http://www.dragondoodles.net/. Use only this direct link, no deep linking allowed as files are changed frequently.

  9. When becoming a member you are automatically signed up to the update list. There are no exceptions to this.

  10. You MUST give credit to our site at all times for anything that you use from within the membership area.

  11. Nothing within the members area should be offered for download, added to a collection, or claimed as your own.

  12. Please refrain from using our graphics within pages promoting child abuse, hate, bigotry, racism, animal abuse religious intolerance and/or illegal pornographic activities.

  13. Graphics are NOT to be used for offline activities such as crafting, digitizing, embroidery designs, printed (recipe cards, greeting cards, stationary etc) or patterns of any kind.

  14. If for any reason we request that the images downloaded from The Dragon Doodles be removed from your site, you will be given 72 hours to comply. Violations of the terms of use could subject you to this request.

  15. If you are banned/revoked/removed/denied, you may not continue to use our graphics.

  16. If your email address, URL, or any other information changes that you provided to us at the time you signed up, it is YOUR responsibility to let us know of the change.

  17. You May Not pass ANY of our graphics through any E-mail groups, MSN groups, Tube groups or Graphic groups.

  18. Any member found to be abusing our terms will have their account terminated with no refund given.

  19. By using our graphics you bind yourself to these terms of service whether you read them or not.

  20. If you offer an "As Is" License you *must* exclude anything created using our lineart or anything else found in our member area. This includes tubes created from our lineart.

  21. The Dragon Doodles reserves the right to change and or modify these terms of use at any time. It is YOUR responsibility to be aware of any changes to our terms.

*MEMBERSHIP TRADES*

  1. If you decide to open a new site with content you already have provided at the site we made the initial trade with the intention to split your site, (example: opening a new member area with just your tubes - either ceasing or cutting back your updates of tubes at the site we initially made the trade at), we get membership at the new site as well. When we make trades, we base them on what is currently contained within your member area and we feel this is only fair. If we do this, we will also give you membership at the new site as well.
  2. If you should sell your site or give it over to new ownership, all graphics made with Dragon Doodles content, must NOT be included in your sale or if your giving over to new ownership. The license you hold was offered to YOU not anyone else as is our content when you were a member. All content of Dragon Doodles must be deleted off the server and your hard drive.
  3. If you develop any new Special Licenses, we will automatically recieve those licenses. We will, of course do the same for you should we make a new license.

*If You Have A membership Area*

We believe, that if we had to pay to join & view your members only area, that you must do the same to view ours. We are honest and have nothing to hide from anyone, but we also believe that fair is fair "trust" goes both ways.

When people are signing up to join your membership site, if it is stated in your terms of use that anyone with a members area has to give you their user name and password so you can make sure they are abiding to your terms, then you MUST do the same for us. If you don't expect a user name and password, then you do NOT need to give us one to your site.

If you do give us a user name and password to view your site, you can rest assured that we will NEVER use anything within your members area (unless we are a member there already), and if we're not a member there, and see anything we like, WE WILL pay the membership fees to join your site in order to use it. *Please Note - Though there are 3 of us here that own Dragon Doodles, only ONE of us will enter your site and we will be sure to let you know in advance which of us will be doing so.

We are just protecting our work and protecting you.

Line-art/Outlines

  1. Do not claim OUR work as your own.

  2. All line art must be colored before offering it to others.

  3. You may not claim the result of any line art as your original artwork.

  4. You may not alter the line art by adding, changing, or subtracting and call them your own.

  5. NO tubes or tutorials may be made using our line-art without a License.

  6. You may not offer our line-art on your site or claim the line-art as your own.

  7. All line-art is copyright to us, unless otherwise stated.

  8. YOU MUST make your tubes 50% different from the original piece of line art. You can achieve this by adding: a background, flowers, clothes etc..

  9. Tubes made from line art must not be offered for sale (for financial gain) in any form of a Tubing Collection/Package unless a Tubing License has been purchased from Dragon Doodles.

  10. If you have a membership site where you offer tubes, then you must purchase the Tubing License in order to offer these tubes to your members

Doll Bases:

  1. **Important** All bases must be dressed with clothing and hair before being offered for download on your site. Absolutely NO offering naked bases. "Underwear" is NOT acceptable. No exceptions to this rule.

  2. Please leave doll names intact!

  3. Bases are not to be redistributed ASIS under any circumstances.

  4. Bases are not to be used in dollmakers at any time.

  5. Please do not frankendoll our bases to make your own. This means: Do NOT Take bits and pieces from our dolls and add it to another be it ours or anyone else's to make a new doll!

  6. Some bases will have special terms - these terms will be posted with the base and must be followed.

  7. NO line-art or tutorials may be made using our bases.

  8. Our Bases are NOT allowed to be placed in ANY type of collection or compilation, and made available to the public in ANY manner, way, shape, form, or fashion, under ANY circumstances. This includes, but not limited to, any kind of online compilations/collections, CD compilations/collections, etc.

  9. Bases may not be shared with others via any means including MSN, Yahoo, email groups, etc.

  10. If you use a doll to create a blank sig tag, please be sure to include at least a background or put the doll in a scene. Simply putting the doll up as a blank sig tag is unacceptable.

  11. We'd love to see what you create with our dolls, please consider sharing your creations with us to place on our "Members Work" page!

Sig Tags

  1. Do not claim OUR work as your own.>

  2. You may not pass these tags through online groups (msn, yahoo, google, etc)

  3. You may gift your friends with these tags, however, you may NOT sell them for a monetary profit or for forum bucks (or any other forum currency).

  4. These are for Dragon Doodles members only, please do not add them to your own members area or your site in general.

  5. Please give credit where credit is due. Link the tags back to http://www.dragondoodles.net and make sure whoever you gift them to does as well. Be sure to check each page for any special terms of use pertaining to the sig you have chosen.

  6. You may not alter the Sig Tag with the exception of adding a name to it ONLY. If there needs to be a change, then come ask us and we will change it for you.

      

Tubes

  1. You MAY make Stationary, Adoptions, Premades, Signature Tags, Websets, and Animate, for your personal use or you may gain a profit from the use of tubes.

  2. You must give credit on the tubes and link them to: http://www.dragondoodles.net/.

  3. Do NOT make changes to our tubes and claim them as your own! Do NOT alter or recolor our tubes. Do not change them in any way - this includes re-sizing them! This is considered unacceptable and will violate our TOU's

  4. You must add something to the tubes before you can sell your result. Do not just add a name. This is not acceptable nor very creative on your part. Their must be at least a 50% difference between our tube and your final result in order for you to offer your graphic for sell. Under NO circumstances are you to offer our tubes in their original form for free or for a fee.

  5. Some tubes will have special terms - these terms will be posted with the tubes and must be followed in order to use the tubes.

  6. Please leave file names intact!

  8. Our Tubes are NOT allowed to be placed in ANY type of collection or compilation, and made available to the public in ANY manner, way, shape, form, or fashion, under ANY circumstances. Websets and Layouts

  1. Websets, Mini Webs to Go, and Layouts do require a link back and must be linked back to Dragon Doodles. Each of our sets will either have a matching small logo button at the bottom of each page or a text link placed for credits. DO NOT remove our links. Using our websets with a link back is part of the copyright.

  2. Do not claim OUR work as your own work.

  3. Our Websets are NOT allowed to be made available to the public for resale, as linkware, shareware or purchaseware, put in ANY collections or resold under ANY circumstances
  4. Our Websets must be used AS IS. NO mix and match, NO changing the basic html and external css files for the set, NO altering the images in any manner!!! There will usually be extra images offered with a set to offer you some flexibility in the display of the set. These images may NOT be altered in any manner!!
  5. Our sets will already have the standard scripts added to them. Please do NOT remove these.

Adoptions and Linkware

  1. Do not claim OUR work as your own.

  2. Premades, adoptables, etc. are for your use only! Do not pass them around in any online groups or mailing lists! They are not to be offered on your website as your own!

  3. Premades must be linked back to Dragon Doodles from your site on the same page they are placed using the certificate logo provided. Using this logo and a link back is part of the copyright.

  4. You must have a website in order to use our Adoptions or Linkware. You must have in place all the standard scripts prior to uploading them to your site. Please protect our work as much as you would protect your own.

  5. Your website must not promote hate, religious intolerance, animal cruelty, violence, pornography and/or racism.

Other Graphics Offered

  1. The stationery found in the members area is for members only!

  2. Stationary - DO NOT rip our stats apart and use the graphics within them for other uses! Do not share our stats with anyone - this is unacceptable - unless of course it was bought as a gift.

  3. You may not offer our stationeries for download or for sell on your site, or add them to any collections, CD's or anywhere else.

Tubing License

If you want to make tubes with our outlines to offer for download on your free site or in a paying membership area, then you must buy a Tube License. Purchasing this license permits you to tube any of our line art once it has been colored and to sell the tubes for financial gain from an open site or offered to members area.

In a Tube Membership Site.

YOU DO NOT need to make the tubes 50% different once you have purchased the license. Once the line art has been colored the tubes can be sold or offered.

Tutorial License:

If you wish to write tutorials with our outlines to offer on your free site or in a paying membership area, then you must buy a Tutorial License. This Tutorial license must be placed at the top of every page with a tutorial written from our outline. The outline itself must not be offered. You must show people how to draw the outline.

Absolutely *NO* tutorials may be written using items that we have purchased AS IS and added to the member area. All such items are clearly marked and on separate pages from our own.

Commercial License

We have a very special license to offer to any one interested in purchasing both licenses at the same time. This special offer does not apply if you have already previously bought one of the license's. So in order to get this discount, you will need to purchase both the tube and the tutorial license.
